As I previously mentioned, very briefly, I went to Cali.  Thanks to the most amazing person alive.  You see, Felyne found out that I’ve never seen the ocean, and could not, for the life of her believe it.  I know I know, I couldn’t believe it when I said it.   She invited me out for the most amazing weekend in Cali, where she lives.  Now, when I say amazing, I mean EFFING AMAZING.  There were destroyers, and aircraft carriers, and lions and tigers and bears oh my!  Not to mention the fireworks that were popping overhead wherever we went.  (at least in my head).  Ok ok, no lions, but, the rest is true!

I’ve not had a weekend like that before in my life, nor have I met someone so amazing in my life.  She is the most awesome, amazing, sweet, beautiful person I’ve ever met.  her personality outshines everyone I’ve ever met, and, she’s hot to boot

The weekend seemed to fly by, which is sad, but, we’ve vowed to meet once again, and gain world domination!!!  So, watch out! Felyne and I are on the prowl (groan, bad pun, sorry).  There is photographic proof floating around, just to prove that I got to meet her, and had a great time. And, there will be many more great times to come, with of course, lots of photos.  In fact, there are still quite a few photos that I haven’t finished editing that will be up. Look out for them!

Anyways, now, since I’m sure you are all incredibly impatient, and want to see her, I present to you, the most amazing person on the face of the earth!  My gurl with the burd, Felyne!!!

Ok, not really, well, kinda…. It was a nice Easter day yesterday (Happy Easter everyone), and we had some brats on the barbie so to speak.  They were quite delicious.  The dogs loved being outside, just hanging out, and I was able to snap a couple pics of them.  So, without further adieu, I give you Soliel and Gracie.

It’s winter here in Michigan
And the gentle breezes blow,
Seventy miles an hour,
At twenty five below.

Yep, that’s right, I said it, CHRISTMAS.. MERRY CHRISTMAS…

Ok ok, I’m done… I’m just sick of all the PC crap with the holidays…  Anyways, I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to all who read this.   I hope you and yours have a great, safe, happy, healthy Christmas holiday.  And, please, remembe,r this season is not all about the latest iPod, or cell phone, or computer, or gaming system or what have you.  It’s about being together with friends and family.  Or, in some cases, your friends and family are one in the same.

So, I got my new car today!!!

It’s a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, pretty nice car if I do say so myself.

Ever want to crawl into a corner, and forget everything around you?  Yeah, that’s me right now.  My car is pooched, and my credit isn’t the greatest.  Which really sucks.  I mean, I have a great job, I make great money, an dyet, I can’t get a loan.  Well, I can, but, it’s a very high interest loan.  Oh well.  I need a car.  I’m going in on Friday to talk to the car people about a Cherokee…. It’s a 2000, but, it’s only had one owner, and according to the carfax report, it’s been pretty well taken care of.  So, I’ll give it a shot.  What’s the worst they say? No?

Aside from that though, I found out today that Grandma is really sick.  She has pnemonia, and, I’m afraid.  I’m terrified of what is going to happen to her.  She hasn’t gotten out of bed at all in the last 2 days, which is totally not like her.  She kept waking up when my Ma was there, and asking where her car was, then passing back out.  She’d wake up, say “Oh Brenda, you’re here, I should get up” and pass back out, wake up, ask for a drink, and pass out before she got it.  It’s really not good, and I’m absolutely terrified.  it kinda makes all of my other problems seem tiny.  I don’t want to lose my grandma, I really don’t.

I’m prety sure I’m getting sick.  Near positive.  That’s not really the point of this post, I’m just tossing it out there to get extra sympothy   Did it work?  Good.  So, I picked my car up today from the mechanic.  You know, whenver a mechanic says “Well, the good news is, you don’t owe us anything” you should just throw up your hands right then and there.  TRUST ME.  Why didn’t I owe them anything? Well, because they are cool like that.  But, on top of that, my damned head gasket is blown.  Which means, either I cough up $1,500 for a new one, to repair a car that has 175,000 miles on it, or, I get a new (very used) car.  guess what kiddies?  I’m going to have to hunt down a new car!!!  Shoot me now, please…

Today, I went to the coolest place on earth.  At least the coolest place I’ve ever been to.  I went to Cabela’s.  Man, that place is sooooooo freaking cool.  And, it’s HUGE.  My dad took me, since my car is in the shop.  When you get there, you are greeted by a statue of two HUGE bear locked in combat over an elk.  It’s a sign of things to come.

We spent the first hour or so just walking around in there.  The thing that makes that place so awesome is that there is a pretty good size live aquarium.  There are fish of all kinds in there, that are all found in the great lakes.  Not only that, but, there are trophy’s from all kinds of animals.  (heads on the wall in other words) that line the entire place.  There are displays from Africa with a trophy elephant as the centerpiece, displays of deer of all kinds, and fox, and wolves, and elk, and moose.  The most awesome thing though, is the ENORMOUS mountain setup in the middle.  It’s effing sweet!  You can see more at the photo gallery on their site.  If you ever make it near Dundee, Michigan, check it out.  But, go early, because the place fills up pretty quick.  Not only is there all that cool stuff, but, everything from their catalog is in the store!!!  Man, talk about awesome.  I just wish I had brought my camera, oh well, next time
